The challenge
Filters add things on top of a face. Onymi had to do something harder: fully regenerate a facial expression from scratch using AI, so a user could pick an emotion (laughter, tears, shock, celebration) and get a realistic, living sticker of their own face showing an emotion that wasn't in the original photo. The challenge was to wrap a complex AI generation pipeline in an app that feels instant and magical, runs a pack-based monetization model, and ships to both stores with an admin panel to manage content packs.

Product & scope
We designed the core magic loop: upload a photo → choose an emotion → AI regenerates the expression into a lifelike sticker. We shaped the pack model (holidays, memes, cats, etc.), a free first sticker to hook users, and in-app purchases for premium packs.

We built a playful, effortless interface where the AI complexity is invisible. The user just picks an emotion and gets a result that looks like a mini-video from a movie. Sharing to chats and social was made one tap away.

Build & launch
We developed the app in Flutter for iOS and Android, connected to a Supabase backend and the AI emotion-generation service. We built a web admin panel to manage emotion packs and content, implemented in-app purchases, and handled the full App Store and Google Play release.
